Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Material Test Reports (MTRs), both provide crucial information about products– how to use them safely and judiciously, as well as what materials they are made of. Various suppliers often send such data in PDFs, which usually run into multiple pages. Companies, therefore, need to extract the necessary information from these documents, to feed their database, showcase the crucial specifications on their product pages, and comply with transport and logistics requirements.

However, manual extraction of this data can not only be extremely tedious and time consuming, but could also be riddled with errors. Inconsistencies in such information would mean non-compliance with federal regulations, and this can lead to fines and penalties. The retrieval of this information, therefore, needs to be an automated process.
We ensure that the SDS/MTR that is received is the latest one that has been issued by the manufacturer. Our models also offered tailored solutions to our clients, which would include all the invoice data formatted as per their requirements. Moreover, depending upon their needs, data from certain sections can be extracted and structured automatically as well. Lastly, we also update our clients’ storage system, such as PIM/ERP, with the current SDS/MTR information.
